11" (28 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with painted blonde
boyish hair,painted facial features,intaglio dark blue side-
glancing eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed
mouth with "O" shaped whistling hole in lips,original muslin
body with whistling bellows in torso,composition hands.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6774 Heubach (square)
Germany. Comments: Heubach,circa 1915,marketed as
"Whistling Jim",the doll emits a whistle when bellows squeezed.
Value Points: rarer model with wonderful expression,working
whistler,great Scottish costume.
