11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape, blue glass sleep and side-glancing eyes, dark eyeliner, dark curly lashes, one stroke brows, rounded nose with nostril dots, closed mouth with beaming smile, full lips with defined space between, blushed cheeks, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 165-1. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, circa 1916, their model marketed as "Jubilee Googly". Value Points: wonderful size of the desirable sweet-faced googly enhanced by finest quality of bisque and painting, original toddler body with original finish, antique costume.
