7" (18 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep and side- glancing googly eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with accent line between the full, smiling lips, brunette mohair wig, composition five piece paper mache body, painted shoes and socks, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A 253 M Nobbi Kid Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Germany. Comments: Marseille, for Borgfeldt for the American market, circa 1920. Value Points: appealing rosy-cheeked googly has original paper label on costume.
