Description
6.5" (17 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, light brown painted hair with center forelock curl, large round side-glancing painted googly eyes, painted long curly upper lashes, single stroke brows, small rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with primly set lips, five piece paper mache body, original flannel dress, painted shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 30 6/0 11 Heubach (in square) 9594. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: wonderful wide-eyed expression enhanced by choice quality of bisque, original body.
