Description
12" (30 cm.) One piece all-bisque head,torso and legs in classic
standing pose,loop-jointed bisque arms,starfish-shaped
fingers,sculpted topknot,forelock and side curls,blue
wings,right-glancing googly eyes,black upper eyeliner and
fringed lashes,dash brows,thin line smile. Condition: generally
excellent,stringing loops (inside arms) need restoration,tiny
flake at back of right arm. Marks: O'Neill (feet). Comments:
Kewpie,designed by Rose O'Neill,produced in Germany,circa
1912. Value Points: rare large size all-bisque with beautiful
painting,fine detail of blush.
