7.5" (19 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted light brown boyish hair with forelock curl, painted facial features, narrow tiny eyes as though squinting in laughter, rounded nose, closed mouth with defined space between the teeth, five piece paper mache body, painted shoes and socks, yellow flannel jester costume and cap. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 162 3/0. Comments: Germany, circa 1915. Value Points: the laughing jester is a rare and appealing model, carrying little bisque doll.
