Description
8" (20 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, sculpted hair in short bobbed fashion with blue hair band at crown, painted facial features, blue side-glancing eyes, painted upper lashes and short lashes, dash brows, rounded nose, closed mouth with very shy smile, five piece paper mache body with painted white socks and blue shoes, knit costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: R. 46 A 12/0. Comments: Theodore Recknagel, circa 1920. Value Points: excellent modeling, of fine quality bisque.
