6" (15 cm.) Classic standing Kewpie with sienna tinted complexion of gutta-percha or hardened rubber, has jointed arms, top knot, black side glancing eyes, unpainted wings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1213 (foot stamp) (paper labels on chest and back). Comments: Kewpie, circa 1920. Value Points: unusual material of Kewpie, perfectly preserved, with interior bead rattle, original labels.
