5" (13 cm.) Bisque socket head with plump facial modeling, brown glass googly sleep and down-glancing eyes, fringed upper lashes, single stroke brows, upturned pug nose, closed mouth with beaming smile, impressed dimples, brunette mohair wig, five piece paper mache body with painted shoes and socks, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A.W. Comments: Adolf Wislizensus, circa 1915. Value Points: rare model of impish character with wonderful expression, great quality of bisque, original body.
