Description
7" (18 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted short brown boyish hair, painted side-glancing eyes with dark upper eyeliner, dash brows, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with full lips, prim smile with cheek dimples, paper mache five piece body with painted shoes and socks, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 322 A 11/0 M Germany. Comments: Marseille, circa 1920. Value Points: unusually fine detail of sculpting enhanced by fine bisque and painting.
