Description
10" (25 cm.) x 9" card. Still tied to their original heavy card paper backing are 15 all-bisque animal caricatures, each with attached nodding head, depicting amusing pigs, cats, dogs and elephants with painted googly eyes, some with original paper flowers or silk ribbons. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Hertwig, circa 1915, the factory sample cards were displayed in the factory show rooms or at exhibitions, showing all possible variations of a model. Value Points: rare sample card with delightful figures.
