Description
4" (10 cm.) Each is bisque figure of Kewpie with painted side- glancing googly eyes, blue wings, including Kewpie Farmer with bisque sculpted sun hat, right hand held to the side and clasping a wooden rake; and a classic standing Kewpie with jointed arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: O'Neill (feet). Comments: designed by Rose O'Neill, made in Germany, circa 1912. Value Points: rare action Kewpie Farmer, and standing Kewpie with original painted shoes and socks, red heart paper label, and original cotton Shaker costume.
