8" (20 cm.) Bisque socket head with round facial modeling, blue glass sleep and side-glancing eyes, a sprinkle of painted upper lashes in graduated lengths, arched high comma-shaped brows, pug nose with accented nostrils, prim little smile on closed lips, brunette mohair wig, five piece composition body with painted shoes and socks, organdy party costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach Koppelsdorf 322 17/0 Germany. Comments: Ernst Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: few models of this googly are known, it combines rarity with a most delightful expression, excellent bisque, painting, original body and body finish.
