Description

6" (15 cm.) and 4". Each has one piece bisque head and torso depicting infant, tiny brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with downcast lips, brunette mohair wig, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs in bent baby pose, smaller with bare feet, larger with painted shoes and socks, little knit costumes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: copr by G.S. Putnam 16/10 (or 16/15). Comments: Bye-lo Baby, designed by Grace Putnam, made in Germany, circa 1925. Value Points: rarer glass eyed and wigged version, with two variations of feet and variation in size.
