34" (86 cm.) -36". Each has paper mache head with highly characterized features, sienna tinted complexion, painted side-glancing eyes, black painted brows, aquiline nose, closed mouth, black mohair wig, costume-wrapped straw-fitted body with enclosed arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Skookums, the trade-named portrait dolls of Native American peoples, created and designed by Mary McAboy, circa 1925. Value Points: very rare grand Exhibition-sized group includes two men and woman with little child, each with elaborate original costumes and accessories.
