12" (30 cm.) All wooden doll has swivel head with painted and sculpted hair and facial features over gesso undercoat, short blonde sculpted curls, blue eyes with unusual side-glancing expression, painted brows and upper eyeliner, closed mouth with center accent line, shapely torso with black paper belt, dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, metal hands and feet, painted blue ankle boots, antique costume included. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Mason-Taylor, circa 1880. Value Points: fine original condition of the early American doll.
