18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, all-wooden body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees, pivot jointing at upper arms and upper legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4. Comments: circa 1870. Value Points: very beautiful face enhanced by wonderful sculpting of curvaceous wooden body, extra articulation at upper arms and legs, included is antique silk and velvet gown, wooden handled parasol, leather boots, straw bonnet.
