expression,brown glass enamel inset eyes in small eye socket
cuts,delicately painted brows and lashes,dark eyeliner,accented
nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced
ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French composition and
wooden eight-loose-ball jointed body with straight wrists.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3 (head) Jumeau Medaille
d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau,his premiere model
bebe,1878. Value Points: in superbly preserved original
condition,with very sweet classic expression,fine bisque,original
wig,original early body with fine original finish,and wearing all
original Jumeau couturier costume of aqua silk satin with
Alencon lace,matching bonnet,original muslin Jumeau
chemise,undergarments,Jumeau knit stockings and black leather
shoes with silk rosettes signed "E. Jumeau Med d'or Paris."
