Description
Of very narrow vertically ribbed pique the gown features a fitted
bodice with short capped sleeves and rounded neckline,flared
skirt,scalloped edging with overcast stitching around the
hem,neckline,sleeves,skirt panels and forming a detachable belt.
Along with a silk wire-framed bonnet with silk thread edging and
ivory silk ribbons and streamers. Circa 1863. Excellent condition.
