Description
Luxurious velvet evening purse is a rich shade of fuchsia with matching fuchsia silk accordion sides and lining, contains six tiny gold and silver coins. The purse is trimmed with ribbed pattern gold metallic banding and clasp, with matching belt loops dotted with gold studs, and has a matching belt with two size adjustments. The purse is presented in its original box with label of Mlle Bereux, an original dressmaker for Huret who later opened her own couturiere poupee shop nearby to the Huret establishment. Near mint condition. 1860s.
