Description
Of red leather with embossed pattern, the sac du voyage is fashioned in the classic manner with separate opening compartments at the purse-shaped top and box-shaped base. The top section features a silver clasp with red leather straps, and the bottom hard-sided section with V-shaped flap closure with brass hook, contains a small mirror. The sac du voyage is contained in its original box with red paper edging. Near mint condition. Circa 1863.
