Elaborately-gabled English-style house has exterior of faux-stone facade in rich detail, high peak twin gable roof with shake shingles, three chimneys, paneled front door with fan glass window, small front porch with arched crest decorated with a deer's head founder's plate, double columns, two large bay windows, one small oriel window on each side,15 windows total. The interior contains double attic with outside hinged access from two sides,8 rooms on two additional floors, plus central hallway, foyer and staircase. Each room has a different fireplace with mantel of lithographed or elaborate hand-painted details to simulate tile, brick or other materials, and brass or painted cornices. The main central staircase has a lithographed carpet runner; an ornately carved railing encircles the stairwell at the second floor landing. Interior door to all rooms lead from the center hallway, and the pantry/kitchen has light fixture and metal sink. Very good condition, one piece of outside trim missing, some interior wall and floor papers scraped. English,mid-19th century.
