18" (46 cm.) Poured wax shoulder head with pink tinted complexion, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes with heavily modeled eyelids, tinted brows and eye liner, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with downcast pale lips, separately inserted delicate hair with center part, softly stuffed muslin body, wax lower limbs with bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1865. Value Points: the exquisitely preserved doll with beautiful rosy complexion wears her original ice blue silk taffeta child's dress of the 1860 era, with undergarments, leather ankle boots, straw bonnet, and is preserved in her original store box.
