15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder
plate,blue glass enamel inset eyes,painted lashes and
brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with
accented lips,pierced ears,brunette human hair over cork
pate,original French muslin poupee body with kid
arms,separately stitched fingers. Condition: generally
excellent,very tiny pinflake in right eye corner,finger tips worn
on left hand. Comments: Gaultier,circa 1885. Value Points:
lovely poupee with very sturdy original body,wears her
beautifully preserved original folklore costume with silk striped
apron and matching coiffe,velvet jacket and skirt
edging,"emerald" earrings and cross,leather slippers.
