10" (25 cm.) h. Proportioned for display with poupee or bebe,the
ebony-finished wooden pedestal table with four arched legs has
gilded striping and applique decoupage along the edge and on
the lid; the turtle-shaped top hinges open to reveal rose paper
lined interior and a fitted ribbon-tied miniature tea service of
white Porcelain de Paris with blue and gilded borders and floral
garlands,comprising lidded teapot,lidded sugar,creamer,six cups
and saucers,six gold-plated spoons,and a gold-plated sugar
tong. Excellent condition. A very rare style miniature furniture in
superb original condition. French,circa 1865.
