10" (25 cm.) h. Proportioned for display with poupee or bebe, the ebony-finished wooden pedestal table with four arched legs has gilded striping and applique decoupage along the edge and on the lid; the turtle-shaped top hinges open to reveal rose paper lined interior and a fitted ribbon-tied miniature tea service of white Porcelain de Paris with blue and gilded borders and floral garlands, comprising lidded teapot, lidded sugar, creamer, six cups and saucers, six gold-plated spoons, and a gold-plated sugar tong. Excellent condition. A very rare style miniature furniture in superb original condition. French, circa 1865.
