32" (81 cm.) Bisque socket head with pale complexion, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted dark lashes, widely arched feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, row of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Eden Bebe Paris 16 (head) Bebe Jumeau Diplome d'Honneur (body). Comments: circa 1895. Value Points: wonderfully characterized expression enhanced by unusually fine quality of bisque and painting for this model, wearing early muslin chemise, signed leather boots.
