Description
16" (41 cm.) Standing upon a red velvet covered platform is a bisque head doll with bright blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, teeth, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig, carton torso, wire upper arms and legs, bisque hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.G. (scroll, on doll). Comments: attributed to Renou, circa 1895, when wound, two tunes play, the doll turns her head side to side and alternately lifts her arms. Value Points: pristine condition, the little girl wears rich rose silk satin dress, lace edged silk apron, lovely music.
