Description
3.5" (9 cm.) doll. 6" x 3" case. A heavy card-paper valise with decorative paper covers and strap handles, hinges open to reveal an all-bisque mignonette with swivel head, painted facial features, jointed arms and legs, painted blue slippers, blonde fleecy wig, wearing original lacy dress. Still tied to the original paper lining of the valise are two additional dresses with lacy accessories. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1885. Value Points: perfectly preserved luxury presentation doll and her costumes.
