Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass enamel inset eyes,painted lashes,dark eyeliner,rose blushed eye shadow,brush-stroked brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,slightly parted lips,two rows of tiny teeth,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig over Steiner pate,kid-over-firm-carton torso,metal upper arms,bisque forearms,cone-shaped lower body/legs "skirt" which covers clockwork mechanism that is wound by attached brass key at the back,antique dress is included. Condition: generally excellent,mechanism functions well. Marks: Cremer Regent St. London Toys,Dolls,Games (original paper label on base). Comments: Jules Steiner,circa 1880,his deposed waltzing lady who glides forward,turns,twirls,pauses,glides again,when wound,originally sold by the prestige London toy store of Cremer. Value Points: especially pretty face on the well-functioning waltzing lady.
