19" (49 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, blue eyes, thick black upper eyeliner, short stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with full lips, pouting expression, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball- jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 49. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, their model "Gretchen" from art character series, circa 1910. Value Points: outstanding quality of sculpting with deeply impressed frowning lines around the eyes and mouth, finest quality of bisque, original wig, body, body finish.
