11" (28 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with pink tinted bisque, sculpted short baby hair with topknot curl, squinting painted side-glancing eyes, white eye dots, one stroke brows, closed mouth with laughing expression, two beaded upper teeth, tongue, composition bent limb baby body, antique baby costume and flannel cape. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (in square) 7911 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: very appealing mischievous expression on the side-glancing character.
