15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line on lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig captured under coiffe, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: Gaultier, circa 1880. Value Points: the poupee wears her original folklore costume of Normandy including Alencon fiche and very elaborate bridal coiffe.
