20" (51 cm.) All felt wool doll with swivel head,center seam
face,blue bead eyes,long pointy nose,uptilted head,stitched
mouth and ears,auburn fleecy wig,elongated body with jointed
shoulders and hips,oversized feet with leather boots. Condition:
very good,some typical dust,fading. Marks: Steiff (button in ear).
Comments: Steiff,circa 1913,"thin" style Bellhop with red woolen
jacket with trim,matching brimmed cap,grey fitted trousers.
Value Points: rare early cloth doll with amusingly characterized
features.
