25" (64 cm.) Very slender oval face of soft kidskin that is treated
for a canvas like effect,shaped nose and lips,brown oil painted
complexion,large upper glancing outlined eyes,painted lips and
teeth,black horsehair stitched hair,muslin body with padded
armature arms for posing. Condition: generally excellent,some
fading of original costume. Comments: Native American play
doll,19th century. Value Points: very rare doll in well-preserved
original condition,wearing original handmade cotton
dress,muslin apron,shawl,head scarf,black stockings,kidskin
