Description
17" (43 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and oil painted facial
features and hair,soft curls swirled onto forehead,sculpted
ears,painted brown eyes with black and brown upper
eyeliner,painted nostrils,closed mouth with pouting lips,stitch-
jointed shoulders,disc-jointed legs,separately stitched thumbs.
Condition: generally excellent except extensive paint flaking on
hair at back of head. Comments: Kathe Kruse,circa 1920. Value
Points: beautiful originally painted features with endearing
wistful expression,wearing original grey woolen Tyrolean
costume.
