6" (15 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast pouty lips, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with shapely detail, defined knees, painted blue heeled ankle boots, white stockings with pink ribbons, wearing original rose silk and lace dress, undergarments, bonnet. Condition: generally excellent, two tiny chips at joints. Marks: 0. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: wonderful sweet yet sad expression on the rare early doll, blue boots.
