11" (28 cm.) Solid domed paper mache shoulder head with black enamel eyes, painted features, black painted pate, closed mouth, hand-stitched kid body with stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1865. Value Points: the doll wears elaborate original folklore costume and beaded head-dress, an original paper label reads "costume doll, Central European late 18th century".
