Description
16" (41 cm.) x 10" box. 6"l. settee. A heavy board box with red paper cover contains a nine-piece set of wooden doll furniture with ebony finish decorated with elaborate gilded designs, in the style known as Biedermeier. Included is a marble top desk, mirrored armoire, upholstered settee, and six dining chairs. Furniture excellent, the box is worn. Germany, attributed to G.H. Wagner & Sohne, circa 1880.
