18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows with fly-away detail, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, blonde mohair bobbed wig, composition bent limb baby body, antique costume including romper suit, knit shoes, wool coat with brass buttons, wool cap with anchor. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1488 Simon & Halbig 12. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: rare pouting character with outstanding detail of facial modeling including defined creases around the eyes and mouth, impressed philtrum dimple, finest quality of bisque, original wig, body, body finish.
