All cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted face and hair, short brown hair with stippled curls onto the forehead, brown painted eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pouting expression, shaded ears, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 720640 (foot stamp) Kathe Kruse (original paper label with ink lettered name "Dick"). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1930s. Value Points: artful painting of the sad-featured boy wearing original costume, with two original paper labels.
