Description
13" (33 cm.) Ebony-finished secretaire features a curved front flat writing table with cubicle back edged by matching cabinets with oval shaped mirrored doors, cabriole shaped legs, and four drawers. The secretaire is decorated with gilded floral and scroll scenes, and on the desk top is a rich scene of a large castle with turrets and a waving flag. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1885,a rare size of the so-called Biedermeier furniture, probably G.H. Wagner & Sohn, perfect for display with small bebe as classic poupee, and with rare decorations.
