26" (66 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head with elongated facial
modeling and very plump cheeks,almond shaped dark blue
glass paperweight inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted curly
lashes,thick brush-stroked brows with enhancing decorative
glaze and feathered highlights,accented eye corners,shaded
nostrils,closed mouth with defined space between the shaded
and outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork
pate,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with
straight wrists,lovely antique lace
costume,coat,jacket,undergarments,knit stockings,shoes.
Condition: generally excellent,torso slightly dented but body is
all original with original finish. Marks: A. 15 T. Comments:
Thuillier,circa 1884. Value Points: especially beautiful bisque
and painting with superb sculpting of mouth and lower
lace,original body and body finish,fine grand size.
