13" (33 cm.) 18" including ears. A stuffed flannel figure with
applied face having stitched nose and painted facial
features,pie-shaped eyes,wide beaming smile has large brown
flannel ears with orange flannel lining,carton torso with wire
arms and upper legs,cylinder legs,block shaped feet,the entire
body covered by black flannel suit with attached orange flannel
mittened jacket,simple wind-up device hidden in torso causes
him to sway back and forth. Condition: good,surface dust and
very slight spots. Marks: Oswald,United Universal Pictures
Corp,An Irwin toy (cloth label) Darling Toddler,Wind me up and I
will Walk,An Irwin Product (paper label). Comments: circa
1928,designed by Disney for the Universal Studios series; after
legal hassles with Universal,Disney went to create his own
Mickey Mouse. Value Points: extremely rare early comic film
character with original labels.
