expression,painted smiling closed mouth,upturned nose,he with
blue glass eyes and bisque hands,she with painted blue eyes
and paper mache hands,brunette human hair,carton torso with
mechanism,paper mache legs hinge-attached to torso.
Condition: generally excellent,boy's mechanism functions
well,girl needs adjustment. Comments: Roullet et Decamps,circa
1910,the dolls were modeled after drawings of Montmartre
urchins by French artist Poulbot for Decamps,named "Toto" and
"Tata". Value Points: delightful characters,the boy especially
pleasing with glass eyes,turning head,tilting side to side.
