Description
16" (41 cm.) Ten stockinette softly stuffed fashion ladies,each
with painted facial features and arranged wigs,wearing
fashionable costume of a particular season,social occasion,or
historical event. Several of the dolls are posed on original fabric
covered stands and several have original paper label with ink
script indicating the style of costume portrayed,viz. "Pendant la
Guerre de 1914","Les Entrapees 1910-1912","Temps des
Tournures,vers 1882","Sous la Emire,1805","Entraree (?)
1910","Les Entrapees 1910-1912",and "Mariee 1900".
Condition: fair to excellent,mostly in fine original condition with
well-preserved,albeit delicate,costume. Marks: Poupee Fabrette
(on several). Comments: circa 1915,Paris. Value Points: rare
fashion dolls in well-preserved condition with documentation
labels
