Description
9.5" (24 cm.) Pink-tinted porcelain shoulder head with slender
oval face,elongated throat,black sculpted hair drawn smoothly
around the face into coiled chignon,painted facial features,blue
eyes,one stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth,all-
wooden fully articulated body with dowel-jointing,porcelain
lower limbs with painted pink stocking ribbons and black flat
shoes,early purple silk dress and bonnet included. Condition:
generally excellent,some overpaint to fingers on right hand.
Comments: Germany,circa 1859. Value Points: lovely size of the
early porcelain lady with rare articulated wooden body.
