Description
7.5" (19 cm.) h. x 6"w. x 3"d. The dark walnut desk has three
drawers with red paper lining,tiny metal ball knobs,the upper
drawer slightly narrower and shorter allowing space for the pull-
out supports for desk surface when opened,slant top that hinges
open to reveal a neatly fitted interior with two pull-out drawers
and fancy cornice. The hand-cast brass-plated hardware
includes four faux-locks. The name "J. Bubbs Maker" is
impressed on the base. Excellent condition,left leg apron
missing. English,late 18th century,a very rare early miniature
furnishing with maker's signature.
