Having shoulder head of very hard composition (possibly fabric strengthened) with slender face and elongated throat depicting an older child,oil-painted complexion and facial features,brown upper glancing eyes,fringed lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with coral lips,auburn mohair braids,weighted muslin body with elongated limbs jointed at shoulders and hips,flat-base feet for standing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Pomm(?,script) Toys 44 Chevre Walk Chelsea S.W.S. Reg.No 381???) (blue stamp on foot) 167 (stamp on other foot). Comments: mystery maker,commercial production,circa 1930s.
