17"(43 cm.) All-wooden loosely articulated puppet with highly characterized face and rich brown
complexion,has painted eyes,wide beaming smile,incised dimples and laughter lines,painted
black hair with mohair curls at the forehead under bandana,original cotton costume and
apron,felt hands,and weighted felt feet,original puppet strings. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: presented in her original box labeled "Ready to Assemble Puppet Pak,Hamburg
Puppet Guild,Hamburg N.Y,"along with instructions for assembly and price list of other models
available,dated 1934. Value Points: wonderful original condition and super quality of sculpting
and painting.
